This course invites you into the world of the New Testament as we walk in the footsteps of Paul and the early disciples as they took the Good News to the nations. Whether you are joining an upcoming Biblical Study Trip to Turkey or are ready to engage the Text in its context wherever you are, this course is for you.
We will engage the texts of John, Acts, Galatians, Ephesians, Colossians, Philemon & Revelation to establish some Biblical "foundations" using cultural keys for unlocking the time periods and places of the Bible. Over half of the New Testament was written either to or from Asia Minor, located in modern-day Turkey (Türkiye). Paul was born in modern-day Turkey and most likely spent the majority of his life there. To understand the New Testament writers and audience well, we must study in their world.
